The Safe Communities Incentive Program (SCIP) is a Workplace Safety
& Insurance Board (WSIB) training program that
promotes workplace safety and can reduce WSIB costs
for small businesses.
In Elgin & Middlesex, it is offered by the
St. Thomas
– Elgin Safe Communities Coalition, an affiliate of
the St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce.
Through SCIP, you can receive a
fixed 5% rebate on your firm’s WSIB insurance
premiums after the owner or senior manager completes
program requirements.
